Notice – Utility Bills Decree Law
We would like to inform you that, for the year 2025, an automatic extraordinary contribution of €200 will be applied to electricity bills for households whose ISEE falls within specific eligibility thresholds. This measure has been introduced by the Government to provide tangible support to families facing more challenging economic circumstances.
Who is eligible for the contribution
You are automatically entitled to receive the extraordinary contribution if your 2025 ISEE (calculated through either the standard or current DSU) falls within one of the following categories:
- Category X: ISEE between €9,530 and €15,000, with fewer than 4 dependent children
- Category Y: ISEE between €15,000 and €25,000, with fewer than 4 dependent children
- Category Z: ISEE between €20,000 and €25,000, with at least 4 dependent children
No application is required. The contribution is granted automatically based on the information provided to INPS through the DSU.
Where to submit the DSU
- Online through the INPS website
- Visit: www.inps.it
- Log in to your personal area using SPID, CIE, or CNS credentials
- Search for “Pre-filled ISEE” and follow the guided procedure
- Through a CAF (Tax Assistance Centre)
- This is the most commonly used method. CAF offices provide free assistance in completing and submitting the DSU.
- Simply book an appointment and bring the required documentation (income details, assets, household composition, etc.).
- Through a Patronato (Citizen Assistance Office)
- Like CAF offices, Patronato offices also offer free assistance with completing and submitting the DSU.
How the contribution works
Starting from June 2025, the manager of the Integrated Information System (SII) will verify eligibility for the contribution and notify electricity suppliers accordingly. The bonus will be automatically applied to the electricity supply contract registered to a member of the eligible household. The amount will be paid in daily instalments of €2.25 over a period of three consecutive months. The contribution will be clearly shown on the electricity bill and applied directly, in the same way as the Social Electricity Bonus.
How your data is processed
To grant the contribution automatically, INPS transmits the ISEE data of eligible households to the SII Manager. Your personal data will be processed in compliance with applicable privacy legislation by ARERA, acting as the Data Controller.
