Job profile information
Duferco Energia is looking for a freelance professional with expertise in the residential and non-residential building construction industry to join the team currently working in this field, by organizing the contracting activities of such works.
Role and Responsibilities
The professional will be in charge of coordinating and supervising the project from the quotation to the construction phase, with greater emphasis on the latter, ensuring progress according to the established schedules and to the extent of his/her responsibility.
All this, in line with the Company General Guidelines.
Areas of Interest
We are specifically looking for freelancers in the following areas:
- Liguria
- Emilia Romagna
- Northeast Italy (Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino Alto Adige)
- Sicily
- Province of Sondrio
Specifically, the company is seeking one person for each one of the four areas listed above.
Tasks
The professional must be fully competent on the tasks (which shall be followed by the Applicant during his/her service) listed below:
- Technical and economic analyses on specifications and tenders
- Energy diagnosis analyses for energy efficiency interventions on building enclosures
- Project analyses for building seismic retrofitting
- Metric calculation analyses
- Ability to analyze providers’ offers and quotes
- Project implementation cost forecasting, abiding corporate standards
- Drafting active contracts, abiding corporate standards
- Checking providers’ quotes and drafting technical documents for procurement of goods and services
- Coordination and supervision of site activities
- Construction site documentation
- Construction site accounting
- Cost variation during construction
- Progress of site activities, according to the work schedule
Requirements
At least a 10-year experience in construction sites
Excellent project management skills
Problem-solving attitude

Willingness to travel to construction sites or meet with customers, professionals, and businesses.
Job profile information
The candidate will be placed within a consolidated working group and, following a period of coaching and training, will have the opportunity to:
- collect, process, analyze and maintain the data made available by company applications, collaborating with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) of the other IT areas;
- prepare statistics and structure data management flows that form the basis for new business models;
- monitor the data pipeline and the correctness of the update schedules/jobs
- collaborate with the Demand Management area on the basis of the business requirements drawn up by them and linked to the developments on Data Analysis;
- provide training and assistance to the business with a view to shared Data Governance;
- improve the quality and accuracy of data;
- build reports and propose improvements;
The ideal candidate has:
- three-year or master's degree in statistics, mathematics, scientific subjects, information technology, management engineering or similar;
- Passion for innovation, technology and data
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- knowledge of the main data management languages, such as SQL and Python
- knowledge of topics such as Data Modeling, Data Quality, Data Lineage
- The profile is completed by good skills in communicating and relating to various company stakeholders (IT and otherwise)
- Knowledge of Qlik (Sense/Cloud), AWS services (Redshift, S3, DMS, Glue) and dbt will be preferred
- Knowledge of the Energy sector will be an advantage
- ITIL v3 and\or v4 certification is a plus
Economic framework: will be commensurate with the skills and experience acquired.
Working method: hybrid with the possibility of smartworking and physical presence in the Genoa offices. Full-time hours.
